Wetland Delineation, Echo Glen Children’s Center
Hart Crowser biologists conducted a wetland delineation and characterization for a 23-acre wetland. We used the US Army Corps of Engineer’s 2010 Regional Supplement to the Wetland Delineation Manual and the Washington Department of Ecology’s Western Washington Wetland Rating System (2014) to assess the wetland. We mapped the wetland, the Cowardin classes within the wetland, the wetland’s hydroperiods, and the required buffer per King County’s Critical Areas Code. Our final product was a critical areas report where we assessed the wetland’s functions and any potential impacts to the wetland from a proposed project to renovate residential units at the Echo Glen Children’s Center.
