International Arrivals Facility

The new International Arrivals Facility (IAF) will accommodate all Customs and Border Protection and associated federal agency processing functions, and process all international travelers arriving at the airport. The project includes geotechnical engineering design for a 345,000-square-foot, 2-story building and a Sterile Corridor and Vertical Circulation Nodes at Concourse A. The new 45,000-square-foot elevated sterile corridor is 32 feet above apron level, and a Bridge and Vertical Circulation Core connect the South Satellite and IAF. The 80-foot tall, 900-foot bridge design allows a 747 to drive underneath.
