Josepha (JoDee) Taylor, P.E., Senior Associate Geotechnical Engineer
oDee has two decades of experience in geotechnical design and construction, and managing private, government, and industrial development projects. A natural problem solver and effective communicator, she enjoys collaborating with project teams to find cost-effective, innovative solutions to her clients’ challenges. JoDee communicates highly technical information in easy-to-understand terms to public and private stakeholders and works to find common ground among stakeholders to help smoothly move projects forward.
JoDee applies her geotechnical knowledge and field and technical experience to manage and support a wide range of public and private projects including unstable slopes, retaining structures, excavations, typical road/freeway/bridge and building construction, sinkholes, and waterfront developments. She has worked on upland and marine projects on clean and contaminated sites, and in seismically active and environmentally sensitive areas.
JoDee is a member of the ASTM International Committee D18 on Soil and Rock, the American Council of Engineering Companies-Hawaii, the Society of American Military Engineers, and the American Society of Civil Engineers Geo-Institute and Coasts, Oceans, Ports, and Rivers Institute.
