High-Rise Buildings

WaMu—Seattle Art Museum Tower

DBM Contractors/WaMu Savings Bank
Seattle, Washington

Our work won an award from the American Society of Civil Engineers Seattle Section due to innovative approach and success in overcoming difficult site conditions. Hart Crowser provided geotechnical engineering and seismic design for this 42-story office tower for Washington Mutual and 12 floors of expansion space for the Seattle Art Museum.

2200 Westlake

Milliken Development Corporation
Seattle, Washington

This 137,000-square-foot residential/commercial project is on the edge of a historic valley that was filled in as part of the Denny Regrade project at the turn of the 20th century. As a result, ground conditions one side of the project were different from the other side. Our engineers’ geotechnical design accommodated this and other challenging conditions.

Lincoln Square High Rise Buildings

Kemper Development Company
Bellevue, Washington

These new buildings are among several projects Hart Crowser has been working on in downtown Bellevue. Hart Crowser’s expertise in soil nail shoring design was particularly valuable for the design of six floors of underground parking in this urban setting.

Mosler Lofts Shoring Walls

Kulchin Foundation Drilling Company
Seattle, Washington

Hart Crowser designed the shoring system for this residential building. Our innovative technique provided vertical elements along an alley containing several utility vaults and structural support of an adjacent building.
