Thea Foss Waterway Brownfield Redevelopment

Property along this waterway has been revitalized, in part due to Hart Crowser’s environmental, natural resources, and geotechnical engineering over the last decade. This Superfund area now boasts new waterfront structures, commercial and retail buildings, a public esplanade, and other amenities.

 

 

Chiloquin Mill Site Restoration

One of our Orphan Sites projects under an environmental contract with the Oregon DEQ, this site is being cleaned up under an EPA Brownfields Grant. To remove site hazards, contaminated soil was excavated for off-site disposal, and a dilapitated boiler house was demolished. Our work is helping to support potential redevelopment of the site with commercial, residential, and recreational facilities.

 

Christmas Valley Airport Enhancement

This project involves environmental remediation of property adjacent to the airport, so that the redevelopment with public facilities and an aviation fueling station can occur. With these services, the economy of Christmas Valley will be benefit. The property was formerly used as a service station and aircraft refueling facility and is being remediated under an EPA Brownfields grant.
